HOW IT WORKS

The Integrated Layout System (ILS)

We start by acquiring permit ready drawings from the design team. We then overlay drawings from multiple disciplines into a single document. Converting critical keynotes and symbols into text instructions, we apply the information to the subfloor using the layout established by the joist package and print each sheet of subfloor with the necessary information. The sub floor package is delivered to the site and the contractor assembles the sheets like a puzzle. Each column receives a letter designation from A to Z and each row receives a number from 1 to 100. In this way each piece has an easily identifiable location, but don’t worry, we also provide you a simple map on how and where to install each piece.

INFORMATION AT YOUR FEET

Our Integrated Layout System (ILS) allows you to add as much information as you want. Whether you are a general contractor, an owner, design professional, or a framer, we can provide you with as much information as you would like, ensuring that critical items are never overlooked.

WALL TYPE, LOCATION AND LAYOUT

Throw out your chalk-line! With wall locations printed directly on the subfloor your layout is done before you begin!

DOOR NUMBER, LOCATION, SWING DIRECTION

With door numbers and swing location you will never miss a backwards frame or door stop blocking again! When 300 doors show up on your jobsite, its nice to know where each one goes.

STRUCTURAL FRAMING NOTES

Save time by framing door and window openings right the first time. Information from the structural header plan, door schedule and floor plan combined into one easy to read note so you can skip pulling your hair out and get right to building.

ELECTRICAL

Easily locate electrical and low voltage outlet locations, even if they have been drywalled over! Locate switches, lights and fixture data instantly!

OVERHEAD CONSTRUCTION

Using dashed lines we can indicate overhead soffit sizes and locations, as well as other overhead items such as coffers, coves or ACT Grid layout.
